This will be the first time in the history of Tax free savings account that its limit is going to expand for 2 consecutive years.

TFSA Changes

The Tax-Free Saving Account is adjusted on the basis of the consumer price index and economic growth. These changes will make the accumulated contribution and take a jump from 88K CAD to 95K CAD. You will receive your first contribution room after turning 18 years old.

CPP Changes

In CPP, the individual is going to receive some additional benefits through the Government. The Canada Pension Plan is a monthly benefit for the taxpayer who has invested a certain sum of income in the contribution. This is the maximum pension plan that will be going to maximize the contribution limit of 66.6K CAD to 68.5K CAD in 2024.

The Canada Pension Plan provides benefits to old-age citizens as a monthly pension according to their needs and contributions. For this, the individual is required to be 60 years old. Both the employer and the employees can make a contribution to the Canada Pension Plan.

The FHSA is the First Home Saving Account, which is provided to Canadian residents to have tax-free savings for their first home. In this program, the individual can make a contribution of up to 40K CAD, this is the lifetime contribution limit. There will be no changes in the contribution limit, the contribution limit will be the same as 8K CAD.
