The class comprises over 8.6 million individuals whose private information (including health card numbers from provinces) was compromised. Of them, about 131,957 class members had their private test requests or test results compromised by cybercriminals.

Who is Eligible?
A Settlement Class Member may exist if you were a client of LifeLabs and were a resident of Canada prior to December 17, 2019. On October 25, 2023, anybody who was a LifeLabs client on or before December 17, 2019, and who resides in Canada, may now submit an online claim via the class action website.
For every Settlement Class Member who promptly submits a proper claim form, the anticipated payment will be $50, up to a maximum of $150. This sum will be deducted from court-approved legal costs and expenses as well as taxes. The exact amount that each individual will get will be decided by adding up all of the claims that have been submitted.
