The ability to bring a spouse or kids to the UK will no longer be available to foreign carers.
According to Home Office data, compared to individuals on other work visas, health and care workers are more likely to have family members join them.
More than 101,000 visas were awarded to caregivers in the year ending in September, and an estimated 120,000 visas were granted to related dependents.
