  • Nova Scotia: The base amount is $103 for individuals, in which there is an increase of $51.50 for spouses, $25.75 per child, and $51.50 for single-parent children.
  • Ontario: The base amount is $140 for individuals, and there is an increase of $70 for spouses, $35 per child, and $70 for single-parent families.
  • Prince Edward Island: The base amount for individuals is $110, in this there is an increase of $55 for spouses, $22.50 per child, and $55 for the first child in single-parent family.
  • Saskatchewan: The base amount is $188 for individuals, on this there is an increase of $94 for spouses, $47 per child, and $94 for the first child in a single-parent family.

These are the federal amount according to province, and rural areas recipients are offered a 20% additional increase on this amount.
