  • I think the grocery rebate should be given out every month because prices keep going up and we all can’t afford to live this way something needs to change its really hard to pay for everything. Please take what I’m saying into consideration please. Or your going to have a war on your hands.

  • Looking at 2018-2019-2020-2021 receipt the price of each individual food product has gone up in small increments and don’t get me started about 2022-2023. The increase is beyond 58% raise. And to continue the struggle of what we have to go through . To Be Honest , This is unacceptable that each grocery is gaining and gaining for profits each year. With products in storage and Shrink Inflation is now happening to most products. The time for forgiveness is over and people need to be held accountable for their crimes of greed
    Dalton

    • Dalton is spot on with his overview of things at the grocery store level .
My wife & I are seniors living in Vancouver in an apartment.
I’ve lost track of the excessive greed in the grocery stores and at the gas pumps …whew, no controls whatsoever in these 2 categories !

  • The rebate needs to be at least 400 dollars to even put a scratch in the inflation that is killing this country. I am single and I am on disability I use to spend 150 on groceries now I spend over 300. The manager of my apartment building was warning me of a big rent hike on the horizon. I am really worried when I turn 65 and lose a large portion of my income. I don’t sleep well. God help us all.

  • Discusting how disabled and seniors have to struggle so much while the greedy gov fat cats give themselves $10,000 more a year on top of their $100,000 year plus salaries!!! Try living on $20,000 a year!

  • The Government won’t be happy until the majority of Canadians are homeless. Then they will offer an income and take total control of what we can spend and on what we can buy.
The 15 minute cities should all be up and running around the same time.
I will never comply and will die a free woman before I allow them to take my freedom…

    • That was very well said. Hands down the most solid thing I have read/heard, since long before COVID 19 and the powers that be begun taking our freedom. Stay safe, and never we will give in. I will die to keep my freedom. Hope they are willing to do the same to take it from us.

  • Wow, they better slow down! They might break the bank! I’m on ODSP, born with a disability (15 surgeries) living on $1200.00 a month. Never thought I’d have to live this way, especially when I come from a long line of men in my family, who served this Country. Families are gonna be stuck wondering, food in my families stomach, bills paid, roof over head or presents under the tree for their kids. But hey the gov’t can live in their nice homes, eat at 5 🌟 restaurants, never have to worry…I guess we should be grateful for that they slapped a bandaid on this issue. 👏👏👏
